State Police vs. Air Force

Hi, I am deciding between going into the U.S.A.F. or the Maryland State Police. If i were to join the air force, i would strive to become an officer and become fighter pilot. But I enjoy Police work almost the same. I really can't decide and I was wondering if you could help me. I have a 3.8 GPA, and am in excellent condition. What are the pros and cons between the two. Please help. And excuse any spelling errors that I have please.

  1. Do MP in the Air Force for 4 years, you'll get a degree in that area, and your chances of becoming a state officer will be greater.

  2. If you wish to be an officer and pilot, you must do college first.

College, AF, then State Police (if you don't like the military as a career) would be your best bet.

  3. to be pilot is hard as i hear.. but looks like ur smart but before u can consider that u would have to do 4 yrs of college (any degree) then u will be officer then u can choose the pilot training. i suggest go to the USAF. serve some years then go to the state police u'll have much more fun doing so

  4. Not every one who wants to be a pilot gets there, have a back up plan. Go to college, join the military, travel then come home do the police acadamy and be a cop.

  5. Do the Air Force first then the cops

    Vet-USAF

  6. you could be MP but go with as you choose
