State To State By Train?

Is It Possible To Go By Train From State To State? If So, Can Someone Tell Me Some Info.

yes. amtrak. i went from az to nm. and i know you can get to the east cost too.

Indeed, consider using Amtrak, our nation's passenger rail carrier.  For the most part they do an excellent job in providing quality service although please plan accordingly.  Because Amtrak operates its trains on the private freight railroad's main lines they are habitually late.

Its possible to go from country to country by train :) With the exception of the Eurostar (which thinks its more like an Airline complete with check-in) all passport checks are done at the border stations - the doors are locked while the passport check is carried out, the process takes about 10-15 mins for a full train, any stragglers without passports are offloaded and the train continues
