  1. Well, a state is a location and a traitor is someone negative who stabs someone in the back.  A traitor of the state?

What could be negative about a plant?  I am going with PEST.  Anyone can live in a state and a bad resident could be a traitor.  There are many good bugs in the garden, so a bad bug would be a PEST.

So, STATE IS TO TRAITOR AS PLANT IS TO PEST.

  2. pest

  3. Pest is correct. A pest destroys a plant and a traitor destroys a state.

  4. thats tricky because a traitor has a directlly negitive effect on the state, but a pest neggitivly effects root systems in the soil. but possibly these root systems represent socity and a traitor eats away at socity as do pest... so pest is the awnser

  5. plant:weed killer :)

  6. yeah exactly

  7. 1) find a better verb than is.

    2) substitute it with the given

    3) then find the best fit

    or

    1) State is to traitor -> state is harmed by traitor

    2) plant (is harmed by)

    3) find the best

plant is harmed by soil -> nope

plant is harmed by absorption -> nope

plant is harmed by leaf -> nope

plant is harmed by pest -> yup

plant is harmed by moisture -> nope

The only (and best) option is therefore:

state is to traitor as plant is to pest

  8. pest.

  9. Plant is to soil.

    All plants need soil.

    All states need traitors.

    It's reverse psychology.

    I don't know what the h**l I just said.
