State of texas i.d card?

so i just turned 18, and i was wondering..

i need to get a texas state i.d..

i have my social security card and birth certificate, but no picture i.d.. can i still get one without the picture i.d with the things i already have?

naa as far as i know...u need to get a picture id so that u can be identified...SS card and birth certificate...i know we have to in da state of michigan.

You have two valid forms of ID. Take them to the nearest  Texas Department of Public Safety office and they will issue you an ID card. They will take your picture for the ID there.

Take those two items to the DMV and they will cut you an Identification Card.  It will look like a driver's license but will have on it ONLY FOR IDENTIFICATION only.
