  1. The pear has very little lipids or proteins. Carbohydrates are the most abundant substance in the pear. They contain mainly dietary fibers and fructose. They provide food for animals, so that the seeds can be dispersed.


  2. What do you mean by &quot;highest category&quot;?  The largest molecule would probably be starch as the storage molecule for sugar in plants.  Although cellulose (a sub-category of fiber) could make a run for it.  But many proteins, even in minute amounts would have a greater molecular weight than starch.  

  3. carbohydrates, its full of sugar, probably fructose, its a chain of carbons with hydrogens attached to them, i forget how many, the function is an energy storing molelcule...
