You are a state trooper assigned to highway patrol. You pull over a guy for going like 85mph, but then he turns out to be an off-duty cop. He works for some local county police agency (from the same state), but he's a cop nevertheless. Would you give him a ticket? If not, what if he was from YOUR department? Then would you let him off with a warning because he's one of you?

  1. They wouldn't give another cop a ticket.

  2. Years ago this was true, but in today's world, most police officers will issue a citation.  Remarkably citations have been issued to uniformed officers in marked police vehicles, for speeding, when there was no justification.

  3. Yeah, I don't think you'll get any answers on this one. However, if you watch cops movies, the way they look out for each other. I'd say yes to this one. Sorry, State Troopers... :)

  4. depends why he was speeding.
