Statistics show horses have more kicking fits towards owners wearing cowboy hats,do you have to wear one?

Where did you find those statistics?  No, you don't have to wear a cowboy hat to be around horses.  You also don't have to wear a helmet, like those riding places suggest.  I've been riding since I was probably 3 years old, long before the helmet thing came into play, and never got a head injurry from being bucked off of a horse.
