  1. It's pretty much unanimous - go to Antigua.  Learning Spanish will be a great tool to success later in life, especially with the growing Latino population in America.  Also, the Spanish ruins in Antigua will give you another historical perspective that can't be found anywhere else.

I do mission work each year in Honduras and have lived in Guate ten years during my early life.  Seeing how people live in the Third World opens your mind to how rich a life you really have.  Good luck with your mission work.

  2. go to antigua! its really nice there and ull learn alot of things! and  u said next year it wont happen again so don't miss this chance,  wen i visit guatemala i live in the city too and i love it but antigua is more different, but its an amazing place and i think u should learn spanish! it will help u get around,  mean i fell in love with the place and im movin there in december, and about makin friends trust me yea ure only 14 ull make friends fast i mean im 18 but i have freinds who are 20 and even younger, they're all friendly! good luck! p.s let me know on the updates!

  3. Go to antigua

  4. Go to Antigua!  There's a reason it's been designated a World Heritage site.  It's beautiful, fun, safe and a great place to learn Spanish.  It's totally unlike Guatemala City.  Do it; you'll be glad you did (I was there in 2000 to learn Spanish and look back on my month there as one of the best times of my life).
