  1. Stay in school. You'll miss the high school experience. You only get to be a kid once. Just get jobs during the summer.

  2. Go to school, and this time instead of being bored, pay attention when the English teacher teaches you how to write.

  3. As long as you can graduate then do which ever you want, if I had that option I'd do the home school & part time job

  4. Ok, if you want to be homeschooled and work it will be possible.  For instance, you will need to start with knowing the laws for homeschooling in your state.  www.hslda.org is where you would get this information.  Then, you can homeschool however you want.  I homeschool through a correspondence school.  Which means that I get my books in the mail and take the exams online through their website.  www.pennfosterhighschool.com is the school that I use.  They even have college classes, too.  Of course you will have to finish the high school program to get access to the college courses.  www.pennfoster.edu

  5. If you tell people you are home schooled, they will think you have crazy paranoid parents who are afraid that if you spend time around other kids you will let it slip that your uncle touched you in the garage that one time.  (I was "home schooled" too).

  6. It depends on what you want to do after school.  Are you looking at going to college?  You may want the assistance of a public school to help you get into a college.  If you are just looking at finishing high school and that is it, than if you can handle the work load and home school than why not.

  7. get a part time job @ at skating rink they have flexible schedules and dont drop school ull regret it for the rest of your life

  8. stay in school. seriously, it will be better in the long run because you don't get to grow socially like that anywhere else. it would be so different to be in high school, home schooled. i dont know, it's ultimately your choice, but personally, i would stay in school.

  9. Our daughter has been home schooled for many years, she is now 16 working full time, and finishing her high school program.

When finished she can take classes at the local community college, while putting money away for future living expenses before transferring to a four year college.

Do not buy into the "you will be flipping burgers your whole life"; that is a choice people make, it's not a sentence you receive for choosing an alternative path to conventional schooling.

I say go for it, if your parents give you their blessing.

No need to put things off, just make sure that you do stick with your studies, or take the GED.

    Good Luck.

  10. sounds like to me youve already answered your own question in favor of home-schooling.

  11. school or flipping burgers at Mcdonalds for the rest of your life.

  12. Well, it's still very possible to work and be in school. I have a friend who works 20 hours a week (fri, sat, sun, mon), and still manages to get all A's and B's, plus she's in Chorus and on Speech Team.

There is time to go to regular school and get a job. I have never tried homeschooling, so I can't say specifically for you which to choose, but I would stay in school. I would get way too lonely at home. And yeah, you might "meet" some girls at the mall, but you probably wouldn't keep up with them. It's just alot more of a fun, teenage experience to be in high school, and have plenty of girl and guy friends to choose from.

You'll have forever and a day once you graduate to work. you won't have forever and a day to play.

If you really feel like you need to work, then just look around. There are plenty of businesses willing to hire trustworthy teens, and willing to give them the hours if they ask.

  13. If you dont go to school you will always think what the F**K is wrong with me.
