  1. Same answer as before.

See my answer on your previous posted question.

    Good Luck.

  2. I'd say homeschool.

This is what you want, right?

*For school to take less time. (Have to homeschool for that.)

*Be able to have school work that you enjoy more. (Have to homeschool to really have any say in your work.)

*Be able to work AND do sports AND still hang out while getting an education (which you've said you can't do at public school, so that means homechooling).

It sounds like you've already got it worked out in your head that this is what you want to do. The benefits will likely outweigh and disadvantages like people looking at you weirdly because you're homeschooled.

You and your mom need to do your research about the homeschooling and requirements and what you need to do to get a diploma and all that and you will have the time to work AND socialize AND do sports AND do school work.

  3. Well, you need some MORE schooling.

BUT, you could homeschool, opt for concurrent enrollment, or take your GED when you finish 10th grade and take some community college courses.

Your mom would have to be really involved in the homeschooling...unless you are in CA or similar.  They have virtual schools and you can do everything on-line.

If you do concurrent enrollment...you could homeschool and still take some classes at your high school (cool for sports and electives).  Some states even let you start some community college classes that count towards high school and college credit...kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

If you stick it out until after 10th grade, you should be eligible to take your GED, get the high school diploma, and start college, if you want.

The other option is just drop out.  My brother did that because he was bored...that was about 20 years ago.  He got his GED but didn't do anything else.  Started working right away.  He is only just this year getting paid what a college grad with his SAME EXACT job would have gotten straight out.

So let's see...get out of high school 2 or 3 years early...pay for it the next 18 YEARS.

Lesson here...might be painful...might be stupid and boring...but get the degree...that stupid piece of paper is actually worth something.

    Good luck.

  4. stay in school!!! if you just leave school it will be harder for you to get a job!!! in plus for an example if you quit the job you want to work at then you wont be getting money!!if you finish colledge you don't even have to work cause they willl send you money

  5. i agreee w/ first person who posted.

  6. That is one of the great things about homeschooling, you can actually have time to have a life outside of school!

I say get the job and homeschool, however, you still need to spend enough time on your studies.  If you find yourself falling behind then you might want to cut down the work hours and focus on homeschooling.
