Staying at Boyfriends house?

Question

My boyfriend has asked me to stay over night at his house. I'm 16 and he's 17. I havent asked my parents yet and I know this is something I'm gonna have to do before I can stay at his house. I just have no idea of how to ask my parents and make them say yes. I dont want to let my boyfriend down and I want to stay at his house badly! I'm not planning on "doing anything" with him, I'm really not like that and I think my parents know that I'm not like that either. We are going to be staying in different beds if I do stay.

So how do I approach them with this question? And what do I say to ensure that they say yes?

Please dont answer saying that I'm too young or you wouldnt allow your child to stay at their boyfriends house, I just want to know what to say to my parents.

I used to stay at my Boyfriends house when i was 16 and he was 17. I also lived with my grandma so it was even more awcward to ask a grandparent lol.

My boyfriend invited me to stay over it was because his pearents wanted to meet me as we had been going out 6 months.


Try this:

    If you drop a hint like "ah yeah his perents have invited me over to stay because they are going out to a meal for his auntys birthday and then back to their house for a little get together with the relitives. I think they thought it would be nice to involve me. I said im not sure and that i would speak to you because it would be a late one and it would mean that if they wanted to drink at the meal, they couldnt drop me home. His mum did say i was welcome to stay in the spare room if you approved so i said i would speak to you befor i accept the invatation. I want to ask your opinion so i can let his mum know if i will be going or not" :)


But remember...if you are give the trust...dont abuse it if you know what i mean. That last thing you want is being given an opertunity to get some independance and then loosing it because you went too far lol
