  1. Hi there,

I've been to Ochie many times and hands down the funnest thing I've ever done is the Canopy Tour through Chukka Blue.

The tours at sold through Sandals.  Great time!!

    Have fun!!

  2. Definitely climb the waterfall that the previous answerer suggested.  I was scared to death, but I actually got through it alive and am so glad I did it.  Snorkeling is also very popular as well as sunset catamaran cruises.  Stay in the resort area and you won't have a problem with the locals begging for money from you.  It is sad but unfortunate that when you first land at the airport, you see how the locals live until this bus takes you to the resort area.  Enjoy your trip.  The beaches are absolutely beautiful.

  3. Dolphin Cove - Humans get to swim with, pet and get launched out of the water by these dolphins.

Dunns River Falls - Climb the falls

Green Grotto Caves - go into a cave and see limestone formations on ur way to a subterranean lake.

    Coyaba River Garden

    Prospect Plantation

    Cranbrook Flower Forest

    Fern Gully

    Island Hoppers Helicopter tour

    Blue Mountain Bicycle Tours

    Sandals Golf & Country Club

    Hooves Horseback Rides

    Harmony Hall art gallery

  4. I'd suggest you stay on the resort and enjoy their activities.  If they offer excursions, that might be safe and relatively hassle-free, although I'm sure you'll still be harassed by the locals trying to sell you stuff [especially if you go "downtown"].

If you do go to Dunns River Falls, don't go out the "Exit", but rather go back down to the "Entrance".  That way you'll avoid the pushy vendors at the exit area.

You might also want to find out when the cruise ships are in port, as that will affect how busy the "tourist" spots are.

  5. Well, Dunns River Falls is always a big tourist attraction, but it's also fun and very cool.  There's also some fun shopping there downtown, and next to the beach downtown.
