Going to game on Sunday afternoon for sure. Flying in on Saturday morning and I hope to go to Saturday's game if we get in early enough.

  1. Cab or Subway

  2. take the GCP (Grand Central Pkwy) - it turns into 287 (east) then to 87 (north)  The exit is the Macomb Dam Bridge and it's about 1/2 mile from there so follow the signs.  from where you are, it's only 7-8 miles.  good luck, and enjoy your event!

  3. There are no subways that run to LaGuardia (don't bring this up to a New Yorker, it's a sore subject that we live in such a huge city and don't have subway service to LGA).

Anyway, your two choices would be to take a car directly from LGA to Yankee Stadium.  Or your other option would be to take the M60 city bus.  Once you get to 125th Street, you'll get off the bus and transfer to the subway.  You'll want to get on a Bronx bound 4 train.  You'll take the subway to 161st St--Yankee Stadium.

If you want my advice, just pay a little extra and take the cab there.  It'll be worth your time.

A cab will cost you about $25-30 plus tip one way.  If you don't hit traffic, it'll take about 40 minutes or so.
