Staying girly and still environmentally safe??

what are some of things girls can do to be "greener" and still stay girly??

buy makeup and haircare products from enviromentally friendly companies, reusable grocery bags- if you are one of those girls that owns a ton of shoes stop buying so many- get a few that go good with a lot of outfits- all the rubber, glue, dyes and plastics really add up. almost everything you do and buy has an alternative "green" company- usually it cost more but it worth it. if you blow dry your hair- let it air dry most of the way (it is better for your hair too)- cut down shower time to just the necessities- don't stop showering, just don't take any more time than needed- baths are a lot of wasted water- if you decide to change your outfit 100 times a day don't wash anything that is still clean.

lol. maybe  stop using alot of sprays but you can still smell good without it and no hair sprays. just...um just don't do it.lol

You can get some of the green stuff I put on my face when I deer hunt. Get rid of your make-up and use the green stuff I use.

nail polish has tones of chemicals in it and it's one of the most harmful things you can put on your body.  There is a great "green" nail polish called nubar and no miss they are both around $6 and are just as good as the toxic c**p.  

Also you can switch over to "green" make up.  A really assesable on is Physicians Formula green.  They are the first us certified ecocert makeup co.  

Shampoo is something else you can change because all those toxins are going from your drain to the water supply.   Kiss my Face and Jason are great brands.

Bee is right, bring your owen Bags to the grocery store!! I have a pink collapsable one and everyone always stops me and says "that is so cute where did you get it?!"  That will actually be one of the best things you can do for the environment!   Reisenthel sells very cutes ones go to sur la table.com and view them.
