Staying in Dominican Republic. Question....

Question Details: Unsure of what to do.

Ok so here is my Delima

Myself and a friend are going on Vacation in the DR like we do many times a year. We are going the last week in august. the thing is after our week we are planning on staying longer as we have an apartment in puerto plata that we will be renting from.

We always book last minute as it is far cheaper then booking in advance but we are not sure what to do for a flight home? becasue we will not be on that flight. with a last minute package it comes with both flight there and back.

Ive heard that if you do not go on your return flight home they will send people looking for you!

We will later book a one way flight back home to canada.

Any one with a little more information on this PLEASE HELP

The airlines will not send someone to look for you. If you aren't at the departure, they leave without you. It happens all the time.
