Staying occupied on a long flight where i'm not allowed to have electronics?

I'm headed to mexico after landing in san diego for a mission trip, and our church doesn't allow us to bring any electronics with us, i.e. iPods, cellphones, portable dvd players or anything and i have NO IDEA what to do on the flight. Suggestions?

take what has been mentioned and take some playing cards.

if like to read, books are the thing. you can also: draw, take some suduku and crossword puzzle books, ect. hope i helped!!! :)

If you're not allowed to bring electronics, how about you bring along a deck of cards and some books (reading and/or puzzle books)?  Those should keep you occupied while on the flight as well as the trip.
