  1. we have a large calendar right next to the door that we all right our TO DO's and important dates on...

we also each have a basket at the bottom of the stairs to put our things in duriong the day so that we dont constantly go up and down...

keep a notepad in every room of the house so that if you think of something that needs to be done or something you need to purchase right it down immediately...

go to target and stock up opn folders to keep your paperwork and mail organized

hope some of these help...good luck :)

  2. I have 4 kids so I have to be organized. I'll start with the big calendar we have on the wall for school and other activities. I use a different color marker for each kid so all I have to do is write something in that color marker and I know who it's for.

I have one of those organizers that stack on top of eachother for papers and I use that to seperate papers that come home from school. I write everything down on the calendar and save the paper as well. I go through the stacks of papers once a month to clean out old stuff we don't need anymore.

I make to do lists and add grocery items as I think of them.

The kids have a lot of those drawer cart bins for their toys so they stay organized with those. I try to keep a routione for laundry and cleaning.

I keep a basket by the door for shoes and coat hooks in the kids rooms for their coats.

I give the kids chores to do so that they are learning responsability as well as helping keep the house clean and organized.

When the kids are in school I have them set out clothes the night before and I mkake lunches the night before so the morning is easy going. In the summer if we will go to the beach I get everything ready the night before.

When I cook I often make double so we can have another meal if we need a quick one. I'll also make more than one meal at a time. On Sunday's sometimes I will make a huge batch of pancakes and freeze them for the week.

It's all about planning and writing things down really.

  3. I'm known by my husband as a very organized in doing things. This sometimes tiring but at the end it might make you feel better and I'm quite enjoyed and happy doing it. Plan everything early. Get up early in the morning. Maintain a safe, clean, nice, tidy house-very important (it would really saves you time in doing lots of other things)!. Set a play area/books area for your kids in the house. Ask help from other family member in doing some jobs. Treat yourself well when your job is done eg. have a cup of hot coffee. We doing this because we love ourselves and the family.

  4. im hoping that i will be able to settle into some sort of routine ocne the baby is born but i imagine lots of calendars and note pads cos i am such a scatter brain

  5. I have 4 kids and am totally disorganised!!

I go to friends houses and everything is immaculate, look around and think..........if only.

But then my kids are extremely happy, there are always toys freely around to play with and we lost routine on number 2 I think!!

As long as they are clean, well fed and happy, I'm happy.
