Question:

Staying warm in cold water?

We are not surfers, but will spending a week in New Hampshire in very cold water. Any advice on shirts that can keep us warm while in the water?

  1. you could get a wetsuit, or get a rashguard which is a shirt, more for preventing rashes but it does definately keep you warmer


  2. Get a wetsuit mate... Warm and Comfortable actually... haha. Have Fun!

  3. shirts in water? im pretty sure those will get wet..

    a body suit maybe? like ones swimmers or scuba divers wear.

  5. I just "Pee" in the water. It'll make you warm for a couple seconds.

  6. wet suite and booties.just get   a "3/2" thickness wet suit

I don't know where you are swimming but I am assuming in the ocean and right now off the coast of New Hampshire the water temp is around 71 degrees.  There are plenty of options with wetsuits that can fit your needs, but at 71 degreees depending on how well you can handle cold a good solid neoprene top might do the trick.  Have fun up north
