Stealing from me?

So this boy in my class who i thought was friends with me stole the memory card out of my phone. i knew it was him so i asked 2 c his phone and he said there was no point because the screen was broken. He then goes out into the hallway and starts talking with someone and i see him messing with his phone

he took something out of it that was the small size of my memory card and it fell to the floor and he picked it up and slipped it into his pocket

then he let me c his phone thinking i hadn't seen him do that.

i accused him of stealing and he empted out his pockets and it wasn't there

but i know he stole it

What should i do?

i feel like none of the teachers at school will be able to prove anything and they won't try hard to get it back.

dont talk to him and never let him get near ur stuff. if you were really close then he might feel bad but if not at least he won't steal anything from you again! You should also try talking to a nice teacher who might actually do something.
