Steam coming out of the back of the unit and not...

Question

I suspect the hose has been damaged after the unit fell face forward down two stairs (I was steam cleaning carpet on the stairs). Since then, I have not been able to use the unit. I am in Australia now (bought the unit 8 years ago in Germany) and am looking for someone who can help repair/replace the hose, if that is the problem. What do you think? mj
