Why in the world are the steelers still starting Colon the guy just gives up tons of sacks and although starks has been out of shape many times this year he is in shape and is much better for the scheme pittsburgh runs someone explain please because i get tired of seeing big ben get nailed after colon lets his man go. A prime example is the preseason game tonight steelers vs vikings

The Steelers won the game but poor Big Ben probably had one of the hardest games of his career. The Vikings clearly won the o-line vs d-line battle.

I'm a Broncos fan. I'm used to a solid o-line. What I saw the the Pittsburgh game was that the entire pocket seemed to collapse around Ben. Are you sure you want to target one guy?

You're right. The Steelers D-line did a excellent job of containing a HIGHLY potent running game in Minnesota. Credit is clearly due there. Keeping Peterson and Taylor at bay is a very  very very  impressive feat.

I'm not sure if Big Ben wasn't aware of how nasty the Minnesota D-line is but he seemed a bit less poised compared to his normal poise. He may have been a bit "jostled" if you will.

I did see towards the end of his drive that he made some nice adjustments and made plays but you could see in his eyes he was angry about something....

Then again you do have the Williams wall and when you add Jared Allen you have the best defensive line in the league.

I'd wait to throw a o-lineman under the bus. Minnesota is a tough team to gauge your o-line on. Their d-line would make the best o-line look like t**d.

Yeah the Vikings do have good defensive lineman, but still it's the Pittsburgh Steelers. I am a huge Steelers fan and like you am sick and tired of seeing Colon give up sacks like he is doing. I hope to God that Starks will get the starting position and I hope the Steelers organization will realize this so they will be able to run their offensive scheme which is RUN! If I was was Big Ben I would go up to Colon and ask him, "Do you wanna ern your paycheck today?"
