  1. Yeh i agree with LB,but it could be any number of things like power steering fluid not at correct level, have car checked over by someome who actually knows what they are doing or book car into a reputable garage & explain the problem you have, & if it is the steering rack yes it can be a big job if you dont know what you are doing leave it to the professionals.

Also shop around for the best quote for the required work on your power steering.I dont know how long you have had the car but if you have any warranty during the time you purchased said vehicle take it back and complain about the problem to them then it shouldnt cost or cost could be halved depending on or if you have a warranty for your vehicle.

  2. From my experience, a pull to one side usually indicates that it's time to get an alignment job done on your car.

  3. Does the steering pull when driving - set the wheel straight and drive without holding the wheel, does it pull to one side?

It could be anything from the tracking to a problem with the steering shaft or even just low pressure in one of the tyres!

Check the simple things before getting it looked at!

  4. One thing it could be, is if an engine mounting has let go, and the weight of the engine is leaning on the steering arm, or fouling the steering shaft.

Don't drive the car, get it checked immediately!
