Steering wheel control re-hook-up?

I have a pontiac bonneville, 1992, and it came with a tape player. Which broke, so I took my car to best buy and had them install another in-dash unit that has is cd player and mp3 hook up. So all is well there, except now I cannot use my steering wheel controls. They controlled the radio and tape player volume. I really want to get that hooked up to my new unit. I asked if they could do it at best buy and they said no. How can I get my steer. wheel controls back?????

  1. You can use a 3rd-party adapter to connect your steering wheel controls, provided that your new CD player has either a wired remote input on the back, OR comes with its own wireless remote.
