I tryed to push the car forward while it was in nutral and tryed to turn the wheel but still nothing, theres nothing blocking the weels or anything. Also i don't have a key and the car is a 300 zx or a 240 rx7 something like that.

  1. Uhhm, the car has a steering column lock.  Until you have a key to unlock the steering wheel, the front wheels will remain locked in that position.

  2. The only to unlock the steering wheel is to get the key. There is a steering wheel lock in every car that has been produced since approximately 1969, to help prevent vehicle theft. You will not be able to unlock it with the key. You can take the steering column apart and try to remove the mechanism that locks it, but you will probably not be able to put it back together with damaging it. If your friend has the documentation that came with the car, you need to see if the key number is included in it. If not, perhaps a locksmith will be able to produce a key for you. But after you get the key, put it in the ignition, see if you can turn it to the "ACC" position. If not, move the steering wheel from left to right, whatever it will allow, while at the same time you turn the key to the "ACC" position. This will release the steering wheel.

  3. The key would be really useful.  There's a built-in steering lock.  It will engage if you turn the wheel past a certain point with the ignition switch in the off position.  To disengage, you need to turn the ignition switch to the "ACC" position while depressing the steering lock button (just near the ignition switch, usually just above it on the steering column).

Otherwise, yeah, take the cover off the steering column and disable the mechanism that way.

  4. use big s***w to open the steering wheel.

  5. if it wont run and your going to have it towed, just unhook the steering and the tranny linkage, ,then put it in neutral for the tow truck to tow it from the front.
