Steering wheel restoration.

Question

My steering wheel is fading, parts of it look dull and parts look shiny. Does anybody know if theres something i can put on it to restore it. Also when my hands are wet the steering wheel gets sticky and the rubber comes off and sticks to my hands, anyone know how to stop this?

Put a glove on it, I have. Below is an example.

1. Clean with light detergent.

2. Restoration - google car maker & ask there.

3. Rubber coming off is age - replacement wheel may be an option here.
