Stefan Bradl requests Honda some information about new bike after test at Aragon – MotoGP news
Stefan Bradl of LCR Honda requested Honda for some more information after the second day of privately conducted test session at Aragon. The session ended with some pleasures for the German rider as he was able to improve rear grip. This was the second test
he participated in after the test at Brno.
He registered the third fastest lap of the private test session. They achieved some better grip with the rear tyre over the test session which is expected to be an improvement for the bike.
The German rider said, “We found some more grip, and I’m happy to go with it, but also it was an improvement for our bike, which we’re using this year [as he was able to transfer the information to the satellite machine].”
Furthermore, he requested Honda for some more information about the new bike. He added that their tests were a sequel of the tests they did the last day at Aragon.
Bradl said, “It’s a request from Honda that they want to have some information about this new bike, and we re-tested a similar situation as we did yesterday.”
After the tests they were able to transfer the information to the Satellite machine which also left the LCR Honda rider, glad. He tested the new rear tyres offered by Bridgestone.
After the Czech Republic Grand Prix, Bradl participated in the Brno test. There, they worked over improving the braking system and the suspension settings both in front and the rear.
During the Brno test they worked on the acceleration of the bike as well, which turned out to be fruitful as told by the LCR Honda rider.
Bradl finished the Czech Republic GP attaining the 5th position, starting at the 7thgrid position. He has been unable to attain any podium in the current 2012 season. He has just started his MotoGP career in 2012.
The German rider has worked a lot on improving his bike in the two weeks gap between the Czech Republic GP and the Italian Grand Prix.
