The former Rossoneri player exonerates Massimiliano Allegri, and insists that the manager would have done much better had it not been for the missing players.
Former AC Milan playmaker, Stefano Eranio, has come to the defence of the Rossoneri manager, insisting that the manager was missing some important players in some crucial stages of the season.
AC Milan currently trail three points behind Juventus in the run to the Scudetto, with just three matches remaining in the season. Their next match will see them come face to face with Atalanta, where a defeat coupled with the
Bianconeri’s win over Lecce will see the Scudetto slip from their hands for the season.
However, Eranio insists that the Diavolo’s problems have little to do with the coach Massimiliano Allegri, who is under strong criticism from all around.
The former Rossoneri player stated that the coach lost the services of some of the most vital players in the squad at moments of immense importance for the team. He insisted that the manager must be allowed another season at the
club, and sacking the coach would be an unfair decision on part of the team management.
While talking to Sports Radio, the 45-year-old said:
"With all the problems the team have had then certainly [Allegri deserves a new contract]. He lost important players at decisive moments for the team. It is not his fault.”

When asked about his opinion of the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 coach, Eranio stated that the Italian manager’s ability is top-class and undoubted. However, he insisted that talks of replacement will only put more pressure on the Rossoneri
manger.
The former Diavolo defender stated that it will be unfair to blame the alleged Scudetto loss on the manager, considering the fact that he was missing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 for
most part of the season.
"Capello's ability is not disputed, he is a great manager but the important thing now is not to put pressure on Allegri as he lost important players like [Antonio] Cassano, [Kevin-Prince] Boateng, [Alessandro] Nesta and Thiago
Silva when the league was being decided.”
Eranio had a delightful five-year stint with AC Milan, during which the team won three Serie A titles.
