Mauri keen to stay at Rome
The agent of Lazio midfielder, Stefano Mauri, has revealed that his client will remain at the Stadio Olimpico Rome this summer.
Mauri has been linked with a move away from Biancazzurri for the last few months and reports suggested that he is on his way to Fiorentina. However, according to the player’s agent, he is an integral part of the club’s plans and
they have no desire to sell him in the summer.

The Italian international joined the Biancocelesti in 2006 and since then, he has established himself as one of the best midfielder’s in the country. Mauri has scored 21 goals in 158 appearances for the Rome based club and helped
them to win the 2008/09 Coppa Italia.
Lazio manager, Edy Reja, is keen to hang on to his prized stars and has made it clear that he will not be sold in the summer. Lazio have already added several new players to the squad and are looking to finish in the top four next
season.

After qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 1990, Napoli are looking to strengthen their team and have already added few new names to the squad.
The former Palermo star is expected to sign with the Azzurri in the next few days.
Santana made 100 appearances for Fiorentina and scored 15 goals in his five year stay at the club.
