I'm travelling to Ireland im only 17, I have a passport but its a few months old is there any other sort of ID I can use that would be acceptable?

an official photo ID is all that is required between Ireland and England if you are travelling by ferry.  But you will need a valid passport if entering Ireland by plane. It's to do with air terrorism after Sept.11th.

by a few months old do you mean expired? if its not expired,this is the only document you need to go to ireland.i suppose your going to ireland on holiday so have fun.and as we say in the irish language, cead mile failte (100 thousand welcomes) to you
