The Rossoneri attacker has revealed his satisfaction over his debut season performances with the Rossoneri, and took time to reflect on the fond memories of his first match.
Stephan El Shaarawy has voiced his satisfaction regarding his performances in the maiden season with AC Milan, and has revealed that he did not expect to get as much playing time at the Rossoneri as he eventually did.
The Diavolo striker joined the Milan outfit after his transfer from Genoa, and did not take much time to gain the trust of Massimiliano Allegri.
The Rossoneri are not short of attacking talent by any means, and making his way up to regular appearances for the club despite the presence of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robinho-c31382 is nothing short of a laurel for the budding star.
El Shaarawy was adamant that his first campaign with AC Milan proved to be a wonderful one for him, and stressed that he has gained a lot of satisfaction from his experiences with the club.
The former Genoa striker admitted that he did not expect to see Allegri have so much faith in him so soon, and revealed his burning desire to contribute more towards the good of the team in the next season.
The Rossoneri attacker went on to reveal that his debut for the Diavolo has not failed to bring him endless joy, and stressed that the moment of standing for the first time in the San Siro dugout will remain etched in his memory.
While talking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 19-year-old said:
“It was a great season. I didn’t expect to play this much: 28 matches and four goals. I could perhaps have done a bit more, but there’s still time to do so in the next few years. My debut for Milan was fantastic. It was such an amazing feeling, also because I was right under the Curva Sud.”
El Shaarawy revealed that playing for AC Milan at such early age is nothing short of a dream come true for him, and insisted that he will cherish the moment for years to come.
The striker’s contract with the Milan outfit extends until June 2016.
