New Juventus recruit, Stephan Lichtsteiner, is confident that the Old Lady can qualify for the UEFA Champions League in the next season.
The Swiss international recently completed his move to the Turin giants from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 and is already waiting for the season to begin. Juve had a dismal 2010/11 campaign and finished seventh in the league table. The former Italian
champions even failed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
Lichtsteiner is confident that his new employers will return to their best soon and will show the world that they are still the best team in the country. The right-back added that Antonio Conte’s squad has the quality and balance
to perform well in the next campaign. The 27-year-old added that he is really happy to move to one of the top clubs in the world and also thanked the Lazio fans for their support throughout his stay at Rome.
Talking to the reporters Lichtsteiner said, "This team has quality, if we work well we have a great opportunity to get back into the Champions League. I had an enjoyable experience in Rome, but Juventus are Juventus; the team has
a rich history. It’s a club that want to win, just like myself.”
"I work with the aim of winning. I do everything to achieve this. When things don’t go well I get angry. I know that the pressure’s higher at Juventus, but it was also difficult in Rome from the expectation point of view. I’ve
found an organised set-up here and very accommodating, friendly team-mates."

The former Lille star is looking forward to play under new manager, Antonio Conte, and believes that the tactician can do what Massimiliano Allegri did for Milan last season. Allegri helped the Rossoneri to win the Scudetto in the 2010/11 season and ended a
seven year drought.
The defender is eager to return to the training with his new teammates and he is confident that he can gel in well with them.
Lichtsteiner made 115 appearances for the Biancazzurri in his three year stay at the Stadio Olimpico Rome.
