The former midfielder of Fiorentina has gone on to remark on the impact made by the Italians against France, but had words of advice for young El Shaarawy.

and it was a highly entertaining match of football.

While talking to the press after the match against the men
in blue, the Rossoneri midfielder went on to laud the Azzurri outfit on their performance despite the loss while congratulating El Shaarawy on his first goal for the Italian national team.
The former Fiorentina man has gone on to state that the Little Pharaoh has played well so far in the Lega and has scored similar goals for the Rossoneri outfit and he lauded him for his awareness on the field of play. He remarked that it was good that he
was using his strengths in the international matches as well.
However, he went on to state that he would be better off if he was able to increase his awareness of the game and the people around him. He further went on to comment:
“Stephan is good at cutting the pitch and using his pace to anticipate the defender and goalkeeper. He has scored goals like that at Milan, too. I’ve told him off many times because when he gets the ball, he puts his head down and doesn’t look round at the
other options. I think we played pretty well, especially in the first half and the final 20 minutes of the match. It’s a shame, as this is a prestigious friendly, but the important thing is the performance.”
The Nazionale lost out to the French side by a score line of 2-1
