The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cameroon-c2865 international is reportedly on the verge of securing his much anticipated move to the Premier League this week
According to reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, the Marseille defender has played his last game for the Rhone giants and he will leave the Ligue 1 outfit in next couple of days, with English Premier League a possible destination.
M’Bia has expressed his desire to leave the troubled club on several occasions. The centre-back has attracted a lot of suitors in recent times and a host of European clubs are in the race for his signature.
Les Phoceens coach, Elie Baup, has admitted that the 26-year-old is likely to depart, and has revealed that the club do not intend to block his proposed move away from the club.
While talking to reporters, the coach stated that the player wants to leave and it’s in everyone interest to let him go. Several clubs from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 have held talks with OM for the defender’s signature and a decision regarding his future will be taken in
next few days.
“Things could progress during the week for M'bia. It is clear for me and for him; he has shown his desire to leave and club will respect his decision,” the Frenchman told reporters.
Baup added that the Cameroon international has been an asset for the club over the years, and he once again showed that in the match against Montpellier last week. M’Bia is still a Marseille player for time being and the coach expects him to be at his best
behaviour as long as he is here.
"He is still available all the same because he had a good game at Montpellier. As long as he's here, he needs to do his best. “
M’bia’s departure will leave a big void in Les Phoceens’ defence and Elie Baup knows that he needs to buy an adequate replacement before the end of the transfer window.
"We also need to find the best solution for the club."
If the Cameroon international leaves, he would be the second high-profile defender to leave Marseille for the Premier League this summer, following Cesar Azpilicueta's move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 earlier this month.
