Jackson’s 35 phenomenal points
Stephen Jackson gave the Charlotte Bobcats a big hand in struggling to achieve the victory. The Bobcats guard triggered 35 points and grabbed six rebounds on a 13-for-22 shooting from the field. He hit the long range 3-for-5 and pulled out 6-of-10 free throws
in the loss. When asked about the loss, the guard said, "We missed a lot of personnel stuff. On defence (we) made a lot of mistakes. We've just got to come in tomorrow and get better. First game, can't take anything from it."
Nowitzki’s 10th double-double of the season
Dirk Nowitzki posted the tenth double-double of the season as the Dallas Mavericks gave Toronto Raptors a margin of 18-points to get the win. The player who plays forward position scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win. The player went 11-for-20
from the field en route his team’s win.
Martin’s performance at New Orleans
What else can better explain a player’s achievement than a team-mate appreciating his efforts? Kyle Lowry later complimented Kevin Martin’s effort and said, "Kevin was the player of the game. He saved us."
"I was just being aggressive, knowing I could attack the basket when Okafor was out of the game. There was just a good matchup for me." Martin, who added 33 points and five rebounds in Houston Rockets’ win and went a perfect 13-13 from the free throw zone
said later.
Bonner’s off the bench performance in Spurs victory
Matt Bonner helped the San Antonio Spurs surge over to their 95-88 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. The player went 4-for-5 from the 3-pointer zone and pinned 14 points in playing 25 minutes from off the bench. He is the leader in 3-pointers at the time
and is recording over 50 per cent shooting from the long range.
Melo’s good hand in Knicks’ victory
Ever since Carmelo Anthony has been traded to New York, the player has played with great determination. Anthony held the Knicks up by scoring 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win. The player did full justice and went 10-for-22 from the field adjusting
in a new team and city at the same time.
"These games like this are fun. It brings the best out of everybody." You sure did bring the best of yourself Melo!
Crawford’s off-the-bench performance
Jamal Crawford held the Atlanta Hawks to a 90-83 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. The player came off the bench to score 23 points and went 9-for-10 from the free throw line. Crawford hit a crucial 3-pointer at the 1:36 mark in the final frame that
helped the Hawks fly past the Blazers.
