Stephen Jackson: Ten best games of the 2010-2011 season – NBA Special Part - 2
29th December vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Stephen Jackson racked up a season-high 38 points and clutched six rebounds, all on the defence, to power Charlotte Bobcats for an exciting 101-92 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. D.J. Augustin and Stephen were the only two players
to score double figures in the Bobcats line-up and both landed their highest season points to lead the team for a magnificent pull off.
Jackson scored 11 points of his 38 in the first quarter to lead his team for a comprehensive 33-20 advantage. The Cavaliers strived to retaliate after halftime; however they were utterly dominated by the top scoring performance
from the shooting guard Jackson.
2nd February vs. Detroit Pistons
Jackson topped his last season’s highest score and landed a blistering game-high 39 points to spearhead Bobcats with a 10 points margin victory over the Detroit Pistons. The scoring machine scored 17 points in the first two periods
as the Charlotte sealed 44-41 lead going into the halftime.
The Pistons showed some fight back after halftime however the shooting guard Jackson went invincible in the fourth quarter and landed 13 points including two scorching blows from downtown and the Bobcats thrashed the opposition
with a comprehensive 97-87 victory.
12th February vs. Atlanta Hawks
At the Philips Arena, Jackson posted another top scoring performance and clinched a magnificent 88-86 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on a buzzer beater. Al Horford surged with a running Layup shot in the last minute of the game
to escalate 86-86 tie. Jackson grabbed the possession of the ball and buried a 19-foot jumper with the final buzzer and warped up an electrifying victory.
The star of the night Stephen said after the game."Even before we sat down to draw up a play, everybody was telling me to knock it down so I knew they were coming to me in that situation. We haven't won here in eight years (actually
four) so it's good to get a win here especially after blowing one (Friday) night against New Jersey."
Jackson was the top scorer of the night with 32 points and displayed himself as a great finisher as well.
25th February vs. Sacramento Kings
The undermanned Charlotte Bobcats were outstandingly led by their superstar Jackson once again in a comprehensive 110-98 win over the lowly Sacramento Kings. The Kings displayed a team performance as seven players from the line-up
landed double figures. However their super effort resulted insufficient against the brilliance of Jackson, who crushed the opposition with his formidable allure on the court.
Stephen racked up a game-high 30 points and gathered 5 rebounds and concluded the night with another blistering performance.
11th March vs. Portland Trail Blazers
The prolific shooting-guard Jackson had a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds as the Charlotte Bobcats outshined the surging Portland Trail Blazers for an exhilarating 97-92 win at the Time Warner Cable Arena. Jackson
smashed the Trail Blazers out of the game down the stretch to seal a brilliant victory.
The Portland were leading with 6 points with the start of the fourth quarter however Jackson blistered away with 18 point in the last period to crush the Trail Blazers for a magnificent turnaround as the night ended in high spirits
for the Bobcats.
