Stephen Moore insists that Wallabies have placed shock defeat to Samoa behind them

Stephen Moore, the Wallabies hooker, said that his squad has put behind them the shocking 23-32 defeat against Samoans last Sunday, which was branded in black and white as “the most embarrassing moment” in Australian rugby history.
Moore is one of the eight players who has retained his position as hooker after seven changes were made to the squad by the Wallabies coach, Robbie Deans.
According to Moore, the Wallabies are concerned about the Tri-Nations Series which are kicking off on July 23 against Springboks, in Sydney.
While speaking about the Wallabies immediate focus, he stated, "You've got the Mandela Plate, the Bledisloe Cup and the Tri-Nations ... and if we really knuckle down in those four games we can potentially win those trophies, so that's something we're certainly
focused on."
He further added that the Wallabies are right now focusing on the Mandela Plate, Bledisloe Cup and Tri-Nations Series in an attempt to add on to the number of titles under their belt. So for them right now the highest priority lies for these immediate four
games, instead of the World Cup which is much later in line.
While referring to the priority hierarchy for Wallabies, Moore stated, “The World Cup is down the track but there's plenty to do prior to that.”
Moore along with the rest of the Wallabies is looking into the Tri-Nations series as an opportunity for them to have the title under their belt after 2001, which is a long period of time.
By focusing all their energies into winning the Tri-Nations Title, Wallabies right now are not worrying much about the Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2011.
Moore also mentioned that Wallabies need to improve their game especially by working on their breakdown and ball carrying within the game. If these discrepancies are amended then Wallabies game will get stronger and it may sweep them to the Tri-Nations Cup,
for which the entire squad is hungry for a decade already.
Discussing the need to improve, Moore stressed upon the breakdown’s importance and stated the need to improve that area within their game. He further added, “The breakdown is an area we've spoken a lot about over the last couple of days, just tidying that
up and being a lot more physical around the contact area.”
However, just after the defeat against Samoa last Sunday which has called for the wholesale changes by Deans along with the much talked about elimination of Matt Giteau from the fly half’s spot, Wallabies are ready to face reality and give their absolute
best in the most recent Tri-Nations Series.
