Question:

Stephenie Meyer's Dream? The Dream that started it all's interpretation?

I just want a dream interpretation about Stephenie Meyer's dream (the one that started Twilight), just to see what was going on in her head. I just thought it would be interesting...

"I woke up (on that June 2nd) from a very vivid dream. In my dream, two people were having an intense conversation in a meadow in the woods. One of these people was just your average girl. The other person was fantastically beautiful, sparkly, and a vampire. They were discussing the difficulties inherent in the facts that A) they were falling in love with each other while B) the vampire was particularly attracted to the scent of her blood, and was having a difficult time restraining himself from killing her immediately. For what is essentially a transcript of my dream, please see Chapter 13 ("Confessions") of the book."

  1. Well Miki,

Let's have a look at it.....

The only trouble with someone else's "story" is that it is in their words about what they know to be true, so the interpretation does not wholly belong to you......

    Let us see.....

And, I do not know who this girl is... but....

In my dream, two people were having an intense conversation in a meadow in the woods.

((There is an observation on the part of the dreamer... Is this hearsay?.... some words exchanged.... something harsh...))

One of these people was just your average girl.

    ((someone normal... casual.... observed.....))

The other person was fantastically beautiful, sparkly, and a vampire.

((someone who preys upon others, someone flashy and stylish in demeanor..... an attention grabber....))

They were discussing the difficulties inherent in the facts that A) they were falling in love with each other

((A troublesome thought of the emotions behind the heart.... ))

while B) the vampire was particularly attracted to the scent of her blood,

((The other perspective results from a need to be satisfied.... there is no love from this guy......It is for his own needs......))

and was having a difficult time restraining himself from killing her immediately.

((Again, an observation on the part of the dreamer..... A need, a provision of some sort to keep from giving into lusts....... and a desire to show one's self for what is hidden in the heart........))

For what is essentially a transcript of my dream, please see Chapter 13 ("Confessions") of the book."
