Stepmania help: song downloads [size]?

Question

how big are the downloads[kb/mb?] for the songs to stepmania?

i wanna dwnld stepmania but then i found out you have to downloadt he songs; that it doesnt come with the dwnld.

i need to find out how big the song dwnlds are. help?

It really depends on what the author put into the file. If it's only steps (and maybe a banner and a background), then the file shouldn't really go over too much the size of the audio file (so probably around 1-5mb depending on the length of the song). If the author included other things like video into the file, the file size can be much larger. Generally though, good files probably won't exceed 30-40mb.

My average file with video is 10mb and my average file without video is around 5mb, if that gives you any indication.
