Steps Tom Thibodeau needs to take to help Chicago Bulls win the NBA title next season: (Part-1)
Last season, the Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau led his team to the Eastern Conference Finals and received a great deal of appreciation from many basketball experts. His innovative strategies were incredible as his team
progressed that far in the competition. Although, the Bulls played like a title contending team throughout the regular season but late in the playoffs they lost the thrust and defeated by the Miami Heat.
It was Tom Thibodeau, who led the Chicago Bulls and made their fans believe as they can not only advance through to the next round but they can also win the National Basketball Association (NBA) title. The Bulls’ legendary coach
had truly worked hard on his every player for every game in 2010-2011 season and given them the remarkable confidence to go and play their natural game. That was one of the primary reasons as why the Bulls were able to finish the regular season with record
number of wins. The Bulls won 62 and lost only 20 games while surprised everybody in the league who were underestimating them. They went ahead for the next round with great confidence.
Meanwhile, Tom Thibodeau was also remained busy with his players at every stage of the game. His tremendous strategies and brilliant analysis of different situations were proving exceptional for his team. The Bulls played with
great heart and defeated their first opponent, the Indiana Pacers and went ahead in the next round. Before the Bulls met the Miami Heat in their conference finals, it was relatively a smooth run in the championship, but playing against Miami was a tough job.
The Bulls suddenly lost the energy and outplayed by the Miami in their conference finals.
On the other hand, Tom Thibodeau is still planning and busy to make a viable strategy to repeat his last season’s brilliant performance. Some basketball experts have also laid down a few creative objectives for Tom Thibodeau which
would give him a good deal of support for achieving his desired goals for the next season.
Carlos Boozer factor:
Carlos Boozer arrived in the Chicago Bulls in 2010 with great energy and started off his career with a new team in the league. During his time at the Utah Jazz, he earned a great name for his defensive game. When he arrived in
the Bulls, the same level of performance was expected from him. On the other hand, Tom Thibodeau was extremely excited to see Boozer in the Bulls roster. He knew the Bulls defence is little weak as compare to the other top teams in the league and the arrival
of Carlos Boozer was a very happy sign for his team.
Thibodeau and Boozer worked hard in the training sessions and come up with very exceptional defensive strategy for their several opponents. Both started off well on their respective roles and achieved early success in the regular
season. The Bulls won the record number of wins and advanced through to the next round.
The playoffs were the real test of Boozer’s defensive game where his game was suddenly declined as he missed the important minutes on the court. His slight toe injury was the main reason as why he missed so much potential time
on court. The Bulls loyal fans were furious on his performance. He was also not influential on court as his injury barred him for playing his natural game. His injury problems have always disturbed him during his professional basketball career but being a
member of top side in the NBA, and not to play with full energy is a greater disappointment.
The Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau wants to repeat his last season’s performance but with injured Boozer; it is very difficult task to accomplish. Thibodeau should work more with Boozer in training sessions while he should also
encourage him to stay in shape for his own good.
