  1. ok i have seen some close answers and some really bad ones

    for right handed:

    1. right foot slightly forward, arms infront

    2. right foot take a step, arms still infront

    3. left foot step, arms start to go back

    4. quick step right left, parallel to the net, arms all the way back

    5. jump, bow and arrow like motion, big hand, contact ball

    6. hit downwards

    7. avoid hitting the net with the ball and DO NOT touch the net with your arm or body

note: start the approach when the set leaves the setters hands and you know where it is going

    for left handed

switch the steps to left, right, quick step left right with the arms the same

  2. Time your jump with the ball, use ur wrist, spike it downwards!  Try not to hit the ball in the net.  Practice, practice, practice.

  3. "serinaty s" gave perfect answer.

  4. SPIKING; it depends which way is most comfortable for you, i personally start with my right foot first. so i would go right left (sometimes u need to take a third step) i would bend my knees and jump up with my right hand in the air and HIT IT. My teamates and i have to hit it deep into the court ( near the out line) hope i helped GOOD LUCK

  5. wel for a 4-step approach stand on left take a small step and then a bigger step then two really fast closeout steps

for a 3-step do everything but the first step

  6. When the ball gets a little over the net, step up and SPIKE IT!

  7. 1.  put your left foot forward.

    2.  wait for the ball to be at its highest point or almost there.

    3.  take a huge step with your left foot.

    4.  take another big step with your right foot.

    5.  take a small step with your left foot.

    6.  jump and slam the ball down.

  8. If your a righty:

step left, (swing ur armsforward) then right,(swing ur arms back) then step wuickley left and swing ur arms back up to help u jump higher.  SWing at the ball and follow through.

  9. Approach the ball at the peak of its climb. Use the steps (big) left, (short) right left, and jump facing the setter, but ending facing the net (basically twisting your body to put more power behind the ball). Be sure to make good contact on top of the ball, snap your wrist downwards, and follow through with your swing. Hope this helps!

  10. take the "3 step approach"-

    Left, Right, Left UP jump

swing through and land on both feet

leave when the ball has left the setters hands

  11. If you are right handed start with your right foot forward. When the ball is at it's peak point step with your left foot bring your arms back step with your right foot bring your arms forward bring your feet together jump up contact on top of the ball and snap your wrist.

  12. You have to hit it with your hand.( of course! lol ) but you run up to it, JUMP, THEn hit it with either the palm of your hand or the side of your hand by your pinkie finger. and make a motion like your swimming and act like your pulling the net down with the left hand then bring your other hand up and WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL hope this helps

  13. if your right handed put your right foot slightly in front.(if your left handed do the oppisite) then when the setter sets the bal you go. '(big step)left, (small) right, left.' the jump and make contact but snap your wrist and follow through.
