Stereo Replacement for 1983 Volvo 240DL?

The radio in my '83 Volvo 240DL needs to be replaced. Anyone have any experiences, suggestions for replacements, tricks or tips? Ill take anything.

Crutchfield tells me that I'll have to rewire my rear speakers. True?

Its an awesome car, just time for a new radio to be put in.

Removing the head unit wil be no problem shouldn't have that much effect on the speakers of the car.

On thing i would do when removing the head unit and placing the new one in remove the fuse for the stereo from the fuse box in the car because if wire touch the metal it will short out and blow fuse after fuse so save yourself the trouble and remove it before lol
