sounds like you have a bad earth.

slip your radio out and chek the connections if they are all in fine run a new wire to a good earth (bare metal that you can see) if that then works attach it to the new earth or better than that straight back to the battery ( i have all my earths from my sound sytem to the battery including my amps)

if they are fine/no difference try running some new wires to the speakers, (go for better wire make the most of it not working and upgrade)
