Stereo to put into a 2004 Cavalier?

I am thinking about putting in a stereo into my 2004 cavalier, what would be a good kind to put in?

Alpine, Kenwood or Pionner, on the cheap side, you can go with Sony > anything else.  do you want to put in a amp and subwoofer also for bass or just new speakers and the headunit.  you can look at www.crutchfield.com
