  1. I'm not too much into American culture.  But, my own knee-jerk White girl stereotypes comparing American Black and White women has mostly to do with that enviable thing about how Black women can like actually dance as though they feel the music, Black women are significantly more athletic (I was awed as a child by Black girls version of jump-rope, double-dutch absolute brilliance as compared to wimpy in-and-out la-de-dah White girl jump-roping), Black girls got picked on and used as helpers in any dirty work more by adult White and Black men than White girls, Black girls were more resilient than White girls, Black girls were more kindly to me and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed anywhere I traveled than were White girls ( I was always a newcomer), and Black girls were more fun to have for friends because they actually liked playing and working as hard as I did whereas White girlfriends never wanted to do anything but talk on my bed about other girls on sleep-overs.  Just my two cents worth.

  2. i like what FRO said. lol. but um heres two:white women are passive. black women have an attitude.

  3. In colonial times, white men often viewed white women with suspicion and distrust. They associated white women with sexuality. However, as time passed, white women were no longer portrayed as sexual temptresses. They became celebrated as the "nobler half of humanity" and depicted as goddesses rather than sinners. White women were thereafter represented as virtuous, pure and innocent

A stereotype persists of African American women as immoral and therefore less deserving of protection from violence or sexual exploitation. In 1744, Edward Long, in an attempt to support slavery, published his conclusions about African women. He characterized them as "ignorant, crafty, treacherous, thievish, and mistrustful."

  4. I'd have to say that whether the stereotypes are true or not depends on where in the world your talking about.

For example: In America, the stereotypes are true in Canada, the black women are not so different from the white ones, except for the fact that black women in Canada, don't like black men very much(don't trust them, think their ghetto, irresponsible, insensitive and altogether disrespectful), and white women do like them (think their exciting)

  5. Totally different cultures...  In general, Black women are more down to Earth.  This is just a generality.

  6. black women talk loudly in the movies, white women don't know how to make love. that's all you need to know.

  7. Read Divided Sisters by Kathy Russel and Midge Wilson.

  8. Yall all got attitudes

    Yall dont trust your men

Yall dont know how to please your man

    Where to much weave

Care to much about physical appearence

Want a thug but complain when he treats you bad

Dont like nice guys cause you say there boring

Always naggin a brother about something or the other

Remember now you said stereotypes...just had a lil fun with um lol

  9. Furry guy... why? lol

One HUGE one is that White women are more weak and submissive than Black women. White women are easier to get into bed, have less attitude, are not as strong, etc.

  10. "When a white woman sees a man beat on his woman she'll just sit there. But, a black woman will feel compelled to get in there and help were it a black man beating on a woman."  Said an old black woman friend of mine.  You know it got me to thinking that we get along, yet, we're as different as day and night.

  11. I'll name the stereotypes for you (not my personal opinion). These are the negative ones.. I assume that's what your looking for.

    Black women:

    -Loud

    -Rude

    -Pushy

    -Single mothers

    -Like "thugs"

    -Unfeminine

    -Ghetto

    -Immature

    -Petty

    White women:

    -S****y

    -Whiny

    -Gold diggers

    -Hypocritical

    -Confused

    -Sneaky

    -Indirect

    -Manipulative

    -Entitled

    -Superficial

    -Needy

    Hope that helps.

  12. Black women think they're important and that they are the centers of the universe, so they bring attention to themselves to prove their point by being loud, obnoxious, and attention-seeking.

White women struggle with the fight between "Should I be a wife or should I be a career woman to show my strength?"  They are both indecisive and rash.

  13. Black women have ATTITUDES.
