The talented Fiorentina player has gone on to state his commitment to the Viola outfit, and has also remarked on the reasons for rejecting the Bianconeri giants.

the prodigy from Florence.
They made a few purposeful bids for the youngster, and they even tried to throw in their fringe players to secure the deal, but the Viola outfit were keen on hanging on to their star striker.
The striker was talking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, and during his interview, he went on to explain that it was not as if he had not considered leaving the club. He remarked that there was always some truth in the rumours that were floating around.

“I never felt a long way away from Fiorentina, but I did feel that my future was in the balance. When so many rumours are flying around, there is always a touch of truth in it.”
He further remarked that after meetings with the President and the owner of the club, he was convinced into spending another season at the club.
He remarked on the rumours of Juventus by stating:
“Juventus did come after me with some insistence and it is normal to think about it when you hear certain things – the chance to play in the Champions League, you have the faith of the club and the fact that you will be placed at the centre of a project.”
