Arsenal’s assistant manager, Steve Bould has gone on to shower praise upon the team, as he feels the entire squad showed great spirit and determination against Montpellier.
The Gunners went into their game against the French side, with Arsene Wenger being banned from the side lines. As a result, Bould was the acting manager in the game, and he seems to be more than happy with what he saw.
The match saw Montpellier go on and score the opening goal, via a penalty. However, minutes later, both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gervinho-c14755 went on to find the back of the net for the North London club, which saw them lead by two goals to one at the half time break.
During the second half, Montpellier came out with all guns blazing, but the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 defence managed to keep them at bay and avoided losing in the game.
At the end of the match, a very delighted Bould went on to praise the team’s spirit and is quoted to have said: "I am really pleased. It was difficult. I thought we were excellent in the first half – we kept the ball and kept the crowd quiet.”
"We looked a little bit tired in the second half. It was tough. It is quite an intimidating place to come and play so we're glad to get the result."
He then went on to talk about how it was important to pick up wins this early in the season. The assistant manager also feels that the team is doing rather well at the moment, and should they continue to perform in the same way, things could turn out just
fine for the club.
He added: "It's fabulous to get an early away win. We've had a decent start to the season and we have kept the run going so it is important all round, for the whole season.

"We've got great team spirit and I think that was evident tonight. Everybody is digging in and things are looking OK."
It is now up to Wenger and Bould to continue getting the best out of the team, as they look to get them to contest with the best in the world.
