  2. I found out the next morning.  I went to CNN's web page like I always do when I get online and it was the main story on the page.  It was very shocking to me.

  3. I was at home and watching the news channel, my reaction was shocked and suprised. I would've never ever guessed that he would die from a sting ray. I thought he knew everything and was really safe and new his stuff kinda thing. I actually did a report on him, it was quite sad actually I was a big fan.

  5. hi, to be honest i wasnt all that shocked to here the guy had died i thought he might have been bit by a snake or ate by a croc but a stingray .......iwas like wot? its very rare for them to attack, but unfortunately it got him in the heart, and he did the worse thing by pulling the barb out. but who knows he may ahve lived if he didnt do that!

  7. I was at home and felt very sad because he was both a great actor and environmentalist. He was stung in the heart by a stinging ray, which produced a heart attack, which killed him. Avery bizarre way to die and a real waste,Steve Irwin played the role of Crocodile Dundee, and contributed to putting Australia on the map.

  9. I was at home, I heard it on the news. I was pretty shocked he always seemed really invincible. It's pretty tragically ironic.

  10. i remembering being in the town, where they hand out free newspapers from where i am from and the front page was a picture of him saying 'steve irwin - DEAD' it was awful. I remember it was raining, hmmm. rip big man

  12. I was shocked. I had a horrible night when I found out and was very upset.  

    He was an amazing person, he was great with animals and most importantly his family.  He managed everything so well with his simple life.

    He will always be remembered.

  14. I had just gotten out of bed when my dad walked up to me and told me! I was wide awake after that I said, OMG!!!! WHAT??? HOW??!!??!!?? Then he showed me an article, and that was sad... He had a wife and children!!!!!

  17. i dont know where i was but i remember i could not believe he had died. and by a stingray too. after all the poisonous snakes and crocodiles he has dealt with, a stingray kills him. i miss him :(

  19. its was sad but I did not actually like the man - he was like a showman  and I felt he went too far

  20. I was at school and when I found out I was like "He can't die....he is the crocodile hunter!!! HE CAN'T DIE." I was shocked and so sad.

  21. At home, i was pretty peeved, i actually watched his shows sometimes. At least we can rest knowing he died doing what he loved...
