Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has revealed he expects skipper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212 to return to the club for their upcoming Premier League clash against Newcastle United.
Kean left Samba out of the squad for the 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park over the weekend, claiming the defender was not in the right frame of mind. The player had submitted a transfer request which was rejected by the club.

the end of the season.
Kean said while speaking to reporters:
“It was a tough week. We've had a couple of bids for Chris from one club. We put out a strong statement, he handed in a transfer request so all those things put together, I thought it was best he wasn't involved.
This is the last game for us before the window closes. He'll be back in next week and we can move on, get him back in for the next game and get him back playing.”
Things took a turn for the better for the Rovers as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019. However, the back four were not as strong and the visitors ended up conceding a goal in the fixture that ended in a stalemate.
Kean admitted that Samba wanted a move away but revealed it was not possible in the current transfer window. He confirmed the side were not willing to part ways with the club captain for any price and it was for this reason they had gone to reject all offers
for Samba, who he felt was one of the best players at the club.
Kean continued:
“If http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 is going to move, it's not going to be in this window. It wasn't a case of trying to get teams bidding against each other to get a figure up, we'd just like to keep him, it's as simple as that.”
