The recruitment cell of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denis-Petric-c10875 and Samba Brice linked with moves to Stade Velodrome in the January transfer window
While talking to OMTV, Olympique de Marseille sporting director, Jose Anigo claimed that the club will certainly sign a goalkeeper and an offensive player or two during the upcoming winter transfer window.
“There will certainly be an arrival of a goalkeeper and certainly an offensive player, maybe two. We are working for it,” said the head of recruitment cell.
Les Phoceens are actively seeking a worthy number two for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steve-Mandanda-c34177 who has recently extended his stay at Stade Velodrome until June 2016. Earlier this week, L’Equipe named a few custodians who have been shortlisted by the Rhone giants.
Now, La Provence has given more details on the shot-stoppers whose profiles have impressed the residents of the Canebiere club.
Two goalkeepers that are being tipped for a move to Marseille are 24-year-old Denis Petric (Istres) and 18-year-old Samba Brice who is currently plying his trade in Ligue 2 for Le Havre. The former has made a great start to the current campaign for Istres
who are currently in sixth place in the league standings with 28 points from 19 games.
However, the situation regarding the Slovenian might have changed after the recent emergence of one Samba Brice. The teenager is yet to play a single game for Le Club doyen but his potential is immense which is why Marseille could take their chances on the
young Congolese. However, Petric’s experience might put him in pole position.
Another custodian that has been repeatedly scouted by Les Phoceens scouts is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonathan-c18993 Millieras. The 19-year-old is currently under contract at Chateauroux has been in good form but lacks the necessary experience to fully deputise Steve Mandanda.
One offensive player who is very close to sealing a move to Stade Velodrome is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Foued-Kadir-c13896 of Valenciennes for an undisclosed fee. The Algerian international’s arrival will increase the depth in Marseille’s midfield considerably but Elie Baup might consider
signing one more offensive player during the January transfer window.
