Steve Rhodes Director of Worcestershire cricket is keen on keeping the on-loan wicket-keeper Ben Scott for longer – Cricket News Update

the Middlesex and keep Scott for long.
Wicket-keeper Ben Scott had replaced 19-year-old Ben Cox of Worcestershire in May, 2011 when the club took him on a month’s loan from Middlesex. The two clubs had agreed to a deal of giving Scott on a month’s loan which the option of further extension.
On his addition, the director Rhodes had said that for having more experience behind the stumps, Ben was brought in. His impressive performance in the last season with Worcestershire had brought forth this decision of bringing him back.
Scott played 7 matches of the last season for Worcestershire club and averaged 30 with the bat and took 30 catches in the field. These stats brought him under consideration when the former Worcestershire wicket-keeper, Ben http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Cox-c51633, was to be replaced.

The 29-year-old Ben’s loan contract was to end on the coming Monday, July 11, 2011, but director Steve aims to get it extended from Middlesex.
